Since I stopped paying for network/cable TV years ago, I won’t be seeing the interview. Most of the members of the family spend a great deal of time bringing attention to good causes which does not include themselves. I think they provide a service generating tourism dollars for the British people. You don’t get that quiet, private life you’ve always wanted by going on Oprah. When I look at the situation, I see a husband who would do (and has done) anything to make his wife happy and I can’t help but wonder what compromises she has made for Harry. You make compromises and deal with holidays with their family when you’d be elsewhere. But why is she doing this interview that will further drive a wedge between her husband and his family? When you love and marry someone, you marry their family and their history. So, the Sussex’s left Britain to live outside the microscope and that should have been the end of the story. I am sure the reports about her treatment of aides are in part truthful, just as her friends’ glowing reports of her character accurately reflect the person they know. But, after the fairytale wedding, real life set in and the job (and the corresponding restrictions) were likely not what she envisioned. I have no doubt that Meaghan intended to embrace her role when she married into the Royal Family. At the heart of it, we are talking about two brothers who used to be close and now, per reports, barely speak.
